Wayne Stephens - the owner of Armadillo Consignment has over twenty five years in the property casualty insurance industry, and specialized in the handling of personal and real property claims. Wayne believes that quality recycled goods can be exchanged at affordable prices with great customer service.

Armadillo Consignment is also the only consignment store in Seattle that uses an automatic mark down system to control the price and length of stay for virtually every item in the store. The longer an item remains, the more affordable it gets - not just randomly, but on schedule. This means that the store is marking itself down and making room for new consignments at the same time!

We are not a thrift store (who by the way provide an excellent service for our community) and we're not a boutique either, but we're someplace in the middle. That said, we seek to maintain a quality inventory, but we insist that if an item cannot be taken from the store and put to immediate use then it doesn't meet the Armadillo standard for value.
